I am sick of getting emails from people who offer free, or to pay for, web pages or mini sites, or blog themes, or anything else with images, which I am told come with everything, including PSD. Now whether this is a deliberate ploy to get everyone to buy Photoshop, or perhaps even an attempt to embarrass us into buying we’ll never know.
Well, I have news for you, but not all of us can afford $$$ to buy Photoshop, or Dreamweaver, or Acrobat. Some of us, and you may not believe this Mr Guru and your affiliates, but, yes, some of have to rely on free, or discontinued programs which in some cases are as good, if not better than the silly money ones.
I make a point of not sending anything to potential customers which needs silly money before anything can be done.
So from now on, anybody who sends me any of that stuff again will have my unsubscription email flying through the ether, and if the autoresponder asks why, which Aweber does sometimes, they will be told in no uncertain terms exactly why I have unsubscribed, and I encourage anybody in a similar situation to do the same. The Guru will most likely be unconcerned that I/We don’t want any of his stuff anymore, but he/she should be.
But I hear some of you saying, that affiliate is only trying to make some money. OK, I accept that, but it doesn’t alter the facts.
